Ariyon Bakare is know for his role as Hugh Derry in the sci-fi film Life, as well as Barion Raner  in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and roles in numerous films including The Dark Knight, Doctor Who, Happy Ever Afters and Jupiter Ascending.

He is also know for his extensive and varied television work including Dancing on the Edge, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell,  Inspector Lewis on Masterpiece, Walking Dead, etc. He has also written a TV movie "Stealing Lives" and directed multiple episodes of the long standing drama "Doctors."
